Manual DSL SETUP on DLINK DSL-2750E

1. Open IE or Mozila or other browser then type http://192.168.1.1 (Enter) and then will see login page (if not see check your gateway and type it again)

2. See main page

3. Click "SETUP" menu on the top and right side click internet setup

3.1In ATM PVC CONFIGURATION (if not explain leave it to default)

1) VPI = 0

2) VCI = 100

3.2 CONNECTION TYPE

1) Protocol = PPP

2) Encapsulation = LLC

3.3 PPP USERNAME AND PASSWORD

1) Type your internet username xxxxx@xxxx (if dont know check with you ISP)

2 Type your internet password xxxxxxxxx

4 Finish for important configuration and move scroll down for click "Apply"

5. Check the configuration again on the record of web page. if not correct click "Edit"

6. Check your status of internet at status button from top right menu.

6.1 Go to INTERNET INFO to check your internet

look at Internet Connection status = connected

Note: if not success check your DSL configuration, VCI, VPI or username again

7. Hope your can setting internet.

Setting ADSL Modem Router Wi-Fi -Dlink

Check and Setting ADSL Modem Router Wi-Fi (by Wizard)
(Model Dlink DSL-2750E)

1. After bought ADSL Modem Router WiFi.

1.1 Check Serial Number / Modem and warranlty from Box

2. Check back side of Box and look technical information (Network Diagram)

3. Check items include with package

3.1 CD install

3.2 Quick install manual

3.3 Ethernet Cable (Length ~ 50 cm)

3.4 phone cable

3.5 Power Adapter

3.6 Spritter (sparate phone and ADSL outlet)

And support Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X or Linux, Browser Internet Explorer, Mozila Firefox or other but not show on box.

3.7 Check main feature

1) Support Wireless 802.11 b/g/n

2) Network Address Translation (NAT)

3) Enhanced Security with WPA2 (Wireless security)

4) Dynamic DDNS

5) Others

4. Record Serial Number and Model into notebook or take a photo for warranty on the further

5. Preparing CD for install and take CD into computer on DVD-Drive

6. Connect the Ethernet cable from computer to ADSL Modem router

7. Power on the ADSL Modem Router and click "Next" (Please follow step by step)

8. Configuration, Put your country and ISP mean Internet band

8.1 Example configuration

Country: Thailand

ISP: TRUE

Protocol: PPPOE

Encapsulation: LLC

VPI: 0

VCI: 100 (if not sure, check with call center of provider)

(3BB VPI=0 ; VCI=33)
(HINET VPI0; VCI=66)

9. Put username and password into ADSL Router Modem software for access internet (if not sure, check with call center of provider)

10. Confiuration Wireless Network SSID
(example your name or depend on your create)
Channel 0-11 : 2
Ecryption (Optional) WPA2-PSK
WPA2 Key (This mean password) : landmark1234
Click Next

11. Waiting process

12. Success. check message and test internet now

13. Check status ADSL modem router, look on right side and 2 LED lights mean ADSL signal ( Left) and success to connect Internet (Right)

If only ADSL signal show and Internet off mean connection setting wrong please check username or password, VCI,VPI and Internet band)

If ADSL blinking may be no ADSL signal or replace the connection (Remove fax and test again)

Schedule Defreg on Windows 7

Schedule defragmentation on Windows 7 / Server 2008

1. Go to Computer and right click on D: drive then found D-drive properties.

1.1 Click "Defragment now" in defragmentation

2. Window of disk defragmenter will show by suddenly.

2.1 Click configure schedule (if you want manual just choose drive and click defreg button)

3. "Modify Schedule" page

3.1 Click "Run on a schedule" to enable your defrag schedule

3.2 Frequency: you can choose Daily, Weekly and Monthly (In my experience choose Weekly)

3.3 Day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Recommend: Friday or Saturday)

3.4 Time: 00:00 AM to 11:00 PM (Recommend: Morning time because you turn on computer and go to have some breakfast)

4 Disks: Click on "select disks button" and choose your drive on the select disk page (example = D)

5. Click "Close to finish schedule"

Create system restore point and restore your created point for Windows 7

สร้าง system restore point และเรียก restore your created point for Windows 7

1. Open system properties from right click at Computer and click tab "System Protection"

1.1 The default of this system is D Drive "off" and C Drive "On" (Include Windows)

2. Check C drive configuration by click at configuration and see on right page of picture show current usage 3.06 GB.

2.1 The restore setting already set to "Restore system setting and previous version of files" but if you set turn off system protection then you will can't restore point when windows not working.
2.2 That mean have system restore point already but we dont know what is schedule.

3.Back to main-page and click D drive in Avariable Drive and click Configuration.

3.1 D Drive is turn off system protection then click cancel

4. from the main page of system protection click "Create..." and see new window then put your a restore point name

5. My example for point name is "Test-create-restore1"

6. Press Create and waiting system process.

7. Successfully.

8. from main-page click system restore and the other window click "choose a different restore point"

9. You will see your create restore point show on top record with "description name" and "manual type" then click your record and next (you can choose the restore before have some problem)

10. Before click finish please note the system will restart to restore point but make sure date and time is before problem.

10.1 For the data on D Drive and C Drive will not lost from system restore but in windows folder or some profile choose move to another disk

10.2 wait about 5-10 minutes
10.3 Hopefully useful for you.

Clear system drive by disk clean up tool on Windows 7 / Server 2008

1. Go to "Start menu" > click at "Computer" > you will see C drive or D drive then right click on C drive and click at "Properties"

1.1 Click Disk clean up button (left center side)

2. The disk clean up window suddenly show and look default check list is total amount 2.18GB but you can select more and select all (depend on your space).

3. Select more items and total amount of disk space increase up to 10 GB. (Temporary files is big file)

4. You can check the details of Recycle Bin by "View files" button before to do disk clean up.
4.1 Next, click OK

5. Answer "Yes" to confirm disk clean up process

6. Cleaning up drive C (It will take time 5 - 20 minutes, depend on your data)

7. Check the disk space after finish disk clean up will give a lot of space but not increase space as same temporary size is 10GB before disk clean up. (may-be try to restart and check space again)

8. Check disk clean up button again is no temporary files.

9. So. Don't forget to clean up your space unless 1 time per month

10. Complete!!

Setting file sharing on windows computer

การตั้งค่าไฟล์แชร์ลิงบน วินโดส์คอมพิวเตอร์

1. Go to drive or partition on your computer then right click and click "Properties".

2. See new window then go to "Sharing" tab and click "Advance Sharing"

3. In Advance sharing window, click TRUE on "Share this folder" then put your share name into text box (can space) and also put your comments into text box (comment for reminder)

4. Finished for setting and look the network path then select all with right click and click "copy" on right click menu.

5. Test access from your address bar on windows explorer or another machine in same network.

\\yourname\sharename

6. if not work for network access please click off firewall function on windows then test again

7. Enjoy !!!
